Last updated 5 May 2026
Roxpay AG (“Roxpay”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to roxpay.ch and to any business interactions you have with us — including contact forms, consultation bookings, resource downloads, and direct correspondence.
1. Who we are
Roxpay AG is a Swiss public limited company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. We are the controller of personal data processed in connection with our services and this website.
Address: Roxpay AG, Zurich, Switzerland
Privacy contact:privacy@roxpay.ch
For visitors located in the EU/EEA, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in addition to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
2. Information we collect
We collect personal data in the following situations:
- Contact and consultation requests — when you fill out a contact form or book a meeting, we collect your name, business email, company, role, and any information you choose to share about your fleet, depot, or project.
- Business communications — when you exchange emails, phone calls, or messages with our team, we keep records of those interactions for service delivery and continuity.
- Resource downloads — if you opt in to download a guide or playbook, we collect your email address and any fields you provide.
- Technical data — when you visit our website, we automatically collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the time spent on each page.
We do not collect special categories of personal data (e.g. health, political opinions, biometric data) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
3. How we use your information
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiries and prepare site assessments, proposals, or feasibility analyses
- To deliver the Charging-as-a-Service contracts and operations our customers engage us for
- To send you operational updates about the services you use
- To improve our website, content, and the resources we publish
- To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations
- To protect our rights and our customers’ rights, and to prevent fraud or abuse
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the services you have engaged us for
- Legitimate interests — to operate our business, communicate with prospects, improve our services, and protect against fraud
- Consent — for optional marketing communications, where applicable, with the right to withdraw at any time
- Legal obligation — where required by Swiss, EU, or other applicable law
For processing under the Swiss FADP, we rely on the corresponding lawful grounds in the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with:
- Service providers and sub-processors — including website hosting (Webflow), email (Google Workspace), and scheduling (HubSpot Meetings), all under written contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Partners essential to delivering charging services — such as ABB E-Mobility for hardware and operational support, only as needed for service delivery.
- Professional advisors — auditors, lawyers, and accountants, where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by Swiss or EU law.
6. International transfers
Roxpay AG is based in Switzerland. Some of our service providers are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the United States. When we transfer personal data outside Switzerland or the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions where available, or on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy:
- Contact and consultation enquiries: up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless we enter a contract
- Customer records: for the duration of the contract and for the legally required retention period afterwards (typically 10 years for accounting under Swiss law)
- Website technical logs: typically up to 12 months
- Marketing data: until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (Swiss FADP and, where relevant, GDPR), you have the right to:
